A memorable toucan

A memorable Toucan

Summer into Autumn

Summer’s Blaze upon your shoulders falls
And ripe you body’s bloom admired by all
You stride in love with all the world and more
Flower of velvet pinks in blossoms prime
Speak now of autumn’s falling of your lips
Now torn and bruised and scattered to the ground
Where hips and berries echo where you stood
Your beauty passed into the season’s power
With syrup made to treat the season’s cold
You live again in autumn’s cupboard love

Tha gangs are on the streets

The gangs are on the street
It’s after midnight now
The boys get out their toys
Burning crazy in their eyes

A hail of bullets say goodbye
Prepare for your karma to ripen

On the streets the presents change hands
To get the highest spot on the Christmas tree

The gangs are on the streets
Fear in the blood strikes the telomeres
Offspring damaged before their chance has come
